Project Overview

Operations backend for a chain of party plots around Ahmedabad. WhatsApp and public-form inquiries become scored leads, then confirmed wedding bookings, with billing, signed booking papers, and automated payment reminders.

Backend & Engineering Highlights

• —Built a Node.js, Express, and MongoDB backend covering leads, bookings, billing, petty cash, and a per-user finance ledger for multiple party plots.
• —Designed a Gujarati WhatsApp inquiry bot on the Meta Cloud API and Gallabox that collects event type, date, guest count, budget, and nearest venue, then creates a scored lead and notifies the assigned manager.
• —Generated quotation, four-page booking paper, and client consent PDFs from AcroForm templates with pdf-lib and Gujarati-capable fonts, including a one-time signature link.
• —Enforced a booking-paper deadline in a nightly job: empty bookings past two months are cancelled, and bookings that already have money are flagged for review.
• —Shipped WhatsApp campaigns and scheduled templates for balance reminders, post-event review requests, and anniversary wishes, with delivery and read status from provider webhooks.
• —Separated CRM and finance access: staff roles for admin, manager, accountant, and marketing, and finance users scoped to income, expense, or both on specific plots.
• —Used optimistic concurrency on bookings so two managers cannot silently overwrite the same date, and wrote request-scoped audit logs tied to the signed-in user.
